About Spokane Radio News
This site was originally inspired by Idaho Radio News (www.idahoradionews.com). The purpose of this site is as I call it "news and views" on and about Spokane radio. The purpose is not to endorse any particular owner/station or viewpoint. The purpose is to be a forum and information about the happenings in Spokane radio.
Unlike Idaho Radio News we will strive not to be so much for radio insiders, but something the radio enthusiast and the non-radio initiated can relate to. I have been in touch with some local radio insiders and hope to bring news and interviews with them in the future.
I will to the best of my ability be objective, and never punish/pummel/crumb/ or be overly negative about a station/personality/ or owner. Any criticism on this site will only be meant to be constructive and to cheer the station/owner and personality to better themselves. I ask radio insiders to not allow constructive criticism to get in the way of your relationship to me and this website. I know about radio ego’s, I have been in radio many years. At this time I am keeping my Broadcast bug at a distance in order to work in other industries and to allow myself to be more objective.
Now a confession. I lived in Spokane from 1992 to 1997. Since then I have lived in Central PA (Harrisburg Area) and started this site from there in May 2006. In June I relocated back to Spokane where I plan to stay.
